Carton King Creativity Park 紙箱王創意主題園區 in Taichung 台中
I'm not sure about the kids but I love it here! Nearly Everything is made out of paper it's just too cute. Stroll around the garden and sip a cuppa tea or even a beer whilst being amazed by the amount of paper decorations carefully placed around the park.
There is even a paper themed restaurant located in here with the chairs and tables made out of papers and cardboards. Food is not crazy yums and might be slightly overpriced ranged between NTD150 to NTD500 but tell me, have you ever had hotpot out of a paper pot?!
To top it up, they have a themed bar too (for reals, you can get beer here)! They don't check IDs and have pets like monkeys and birds. Living up the tropical vibe minus the biohazards.
It was Christmas season so the Christmas tree and some other gifts related decorations were really on point. Not sure if it's always there or a special add-ons just for the festive season.
Each part of the park has it's own mini theme and one of it was of the "bee". Naturally, I deciphered it based on all the not so subtle hints eg. bee origami, bee hives design and honey flavoured ice-cream (which was so damn good btw).
Now down to business. Admission fee.

There was a little game going on around the park. Collect stamps at designated checkpoints and you'll receive one of this "sunnies". And guess what, of course it's made out of cupboard.
Now down to business. Admission fee.
- General admission NT$200
- Seniors (65 years old and above) & disabled NT$100
If you're shorter than 100cm, yay! Free entry for you.
Good news is (pretty smart strategy too) the admission ticket comes with a voucher worth NT$100 and you'll be able to use that towards any Carton King's bill. Including food and beverages or your shopping items.
Operation hours. I don't understand why they make something so simple, so complicated! Basically 3 different sets of operation hours, what!
- Ticketing office 9am-7pm
- Business hours 9am-9pm (but most of the stores closes at 8pm)
- Dining hours 11am-8pm
Now now, get on going! Go eat that meal out of a paper pot, ride that paper train and be a kid again.
